A three-mile stretch of Weld County Road WCR 41 northwest of Hudson will be temporarily closed for reconstruction beginning June 1.
“Every year, we see improvements to the county’s infrastructure through various projects,” said Scott James, Weld County Commissioner Chair. “We believe this work on County Road 41 will have a similar result and that it will help the road continue to meet demand, particularly as Weld County’s population continues to rise.”
This three-mile stretch of road is used by more than 1,800 vehicles daily, according to officials. The Board of Commissioners has approved a temporary closure of WCR 41 between Colorado Highway 52 and WCR 20 through October 26.
