America’s rooftop highway starts here

Trail Ridge Road reaches 12,183 feet above sea level inside Rocky Mountain National Park, and for 11 miles of the drive, you travel above treeline where no trees grow.

The 48-mile route connects Estes Park on the east side to Grand Lake on the west, crossing the Continental Divide along the way.
