Here are just a few Northern Colorado dog parks your pup will love

One thing about Northern Colorado is that there are lots and lots of dog lovers. So, here are just a few dog parks that my dog Maggie loves. Let’s break it down by city.

Timnath

The Timnath Community Dog Park is a staple for our family because it’s spacious with lots of structures for your pup to play around. Located on the east side of the park, the dog area is close to an actual park, so you can kill two birds with one stone by bringing the kids along for a play date.

Wellington

Located off Buffalo Creek Parkway, the dog park in Wellington not only offers waste stations but is also near trails and open space. Really want to let your dog run? The dog park in Wellington also has an off-leash area.

Fort Collins

This one is tough because FOCO has a ton of dog parks to choose from. But if Maggie had to pick one, the Spring Canyon dog park would definitely be rated very high with a no-leash open space and a pool for your dog to cool off in. Because who doesn’t want a wet dog?

Be sure to check out the Twin Silos dog park, as well as the Soft Gold dog park, for a smaller, cozier dog park vibe.

Greeley

Rover Run dog park is one of Maggie’s favorite places to socialize, with a very big off-leash play area. You can definitely tire your pup out at this popular Greeley dog park. It’s also located off the Poudre Trail, which means both dogs and their owners can get some exercise.

Loveland

Mehaffey Park, located on the west side of Loveland, has a huge off-leash dog area with a crushed fine surface so your doggo can play in luxury. Mehassey dog park is just a small section of the overall park area. Dog owners love this park because it offers many amenities…
