Colorado cops catch suspected ‘Cannonball Run’ driver hitting 130 MPH in blacked out sedan

Two people were arrested in Colorado after police stopped a high-speed sedan suspected to be taking part in a “Cannonball Run.”

On the night of May 30, 2026, a Larimer County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) deputy spotted a dark-colored sedan traveling at 130 m.p.h. on I-25 around Carpenter Road.

Police said that as more LCSO deputies arrived in the area, the motorist used the Mountain Vista exit, still traveling around 100 m.p.h. and then “blacked out,” or turned off the car’s headlights to avoid police…
