The Rocky Mountain Channel will premiere a new episode of its original series “Music in Wild Places” featuring Denver singer-songwriter Lauren Frihauf at 7 p.m. Monday.
Frihauf was one of five finalists selected from more than 6,000 entries in NPR Music’s 2026 Tiny Desk Contest. The episode includes performances and conversations filmed amid Colorado’s mountain landscapes, highlighting the connection between music and nature.
Viewers will hear Frihauf perform her song “One Thing Always Leads to Another,” which helped earn her national recognition in the contest. NPR Music host and senior producer Robin Hilton praised Frihauf’s “transcendent voice,” helping introduce the Colorado artist to a wider audience…
