Independence Day in Northern Colorado is almost here, and fireworks should be extra special this year because of the 250th celebration. Many Coloradans have their go-to spots to watch fireworks; however, you might want to change things up a bit, or maybe you’ve just moved to Northern Colorado and need a little help finding the best place to celebrate the Fourth of July.
If you want to see big fireworks, you are in luck, as there are many places in Northern Colorado to see an amazing Fourth of July fireworks display. Here is a list of all of the Northern Colorado towns that will be putting on a fireworks show this Fourth of July.
Fort Collins, Colorado
Fort Collins will have a great Fireworks display at City Park over Sheldon Lake with activities throughout the entire day leading up to the grand finale at 9:30 p.m.
Timnath, Colorado
Timnath will hold its annual Fourth of July celebration at Timnath Reservoir, starting at 6 p.m., featuring food trucks, live music, and fireworks.
Loveland, Colorado
Loveland’s Independence Day celebration and fireworks display return to North Lake Park starting at 11 a.m. with the Loveland Lions Club barbecue, food trucks, vendors, kids’ zone, and closing out with a fireworks display.
Windsor, Colorado
Windsor’s 4th of July celebration will be at Boardwalk Community Park at Windsor Lake. Festivities include family-friendly fun, live music, food trucks, and fireworks over the lake.
Greeley, Colorado
The Greeley Stampede could arguably be the biggest and most action-packed Fourth of July in Northern Colorado. Starting Independence Day is the parade through the city of Greeley at 9 a.m., following an entire day filled with events including rodeos, concerts, and carnival at Island Grove Regional Park with the Greeley Stampede. Rumor is that the fireworks display at the Greeley Stampede will be the biggest in the state of Colorado this year.
Estes Park, Colorado
