Large hail hits Eastern Plains for second day in a row

For the second day in a row, Colorado was hit with severe storms that produced hail, flooding and a tornado.

In northeastern Colorado, there was a confirmed tornado near Fleming, which is about 20 miles east of Sterling. The tornado touched down around 6:25 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. It’s unknown if it caused any damage.
