Man arrested for alleged fight spree, throwing pots at Weld County deputies

DENVER (KDVR) — A 31-year-old man is in custody after officials in Weld County say he got into multiple fights with victims, killed a chicken and threw flowerpots at officers.

Suspect dead after officers in Broomfield respond to disturbance

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office reported that an investigation on Friday night, just before 7:30, led deputies to a disturbance in the 26400 block of 2nd Street near Kersey.

Deputies identified the suspect as 31-year-old Gregory Medina, who reportedly got into an argument with a family member and then fought with another man at the scene. Medina allegedly damaged the man’s vehicle and threatened him with a log with sharp branches.

According to the release, Medina is also accused of killing a chicken on the property before deputies arrived, and shortly after, he broke a fence and fled when a deputy reached the scene…
