For another consecutive year, Boyd Lake has been identified as one of the most snake-filled lakes in Colorado.
Located in Loveland at Boyd Lake State Park, this body of water is the third most snake-infested body of water in the state, according to a May report from World Atlas.
The park is home to several snake species including bull and garter snakes, which pose little risk to visitors. According to World Atlas, one of the state’s venomous species, the prairie rattlesnake, is also known to occupy the park.
