The world’s largest furniture chain is getting just a little bit bigger. IKEA has over 500 brick-and-mortar stores worldwide; however, only under 100 of those are located in North America. But lucky for shoppers, IKEA will be adding new locations to its roster.
Interim CEO Rob Olson believes these new locations will build momentum towards making IKEA more affordable, accessible, and sustainable. And despite a challenging external environment, IKEA performed well in 2025 by helping consumers looking to keep more cash in their wallets.
