Here’s what you’ll find inside the new Fort Collins Food Co-op

If it’s been a while since your last trip to the Fort Collins Food Co-op, there’s a lot to discover at its new home.

After nearly five decades in its longtime Old Town location at 250 E. Mountain Ave., the community grocery store has moved into the former Beavers Market building at 1100 W. Mountain Ave., just a short drive west. A grand-opening celebration was held Aug. 22.

Since relocating, the co-op has expanded its produce, bulk foods and prepared foods selections while adding long-awaited conveniences such as grocery carts, dedicated parking and more room to grow, according to its website…
