On Thursday, Sept. 24, staff at Human Bean Northern Colorado will be on duty to raise money for the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund, a charity established after the World Trade Center attacks on 9/11. The Colorado chapter helps the firefighters who serve in our community and offers financial support when in need as well as much-needed resources for volunteer departments that need training or equipment.
Ten percent of sales made at the following Human Bean locations, as well as any cash donations made by customers, will be donated to the nonprofit organization.

“All of the money raised will help the firefighters that serve our communities,” says Frank Sherman, owner of Human Bean Northern Colorado. “The money might be used to support a firefighter’s family member who is sick or has an ambition to get a college education, or the funds might provide some much-needed resources for a small volunteer department with no money for training or equipment. Whatever the case may be, we are so glad to work with the community to help our firefighters.”
Terry Farrell was serving for the FDNY on Rescue 4 when he was killed during the attacks. Since that time the organization has worked diligently to support firefighters and their families with educational, medical and equipment needs. The national organization now has active chapters in New York, California, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, Texas, New Jersey and Colorado.
