When I was in college, I, like many others, waited tables. I worked at Bennigan’s in Fort Collins. It was hard work, but I loved it. I had some amazing customers, but I also had some real nightmares.
If you’ve ever waited tables, you know there are some things customers will do that drive you crazy. Let’s take a look at just a few things the wait staff wish you would stop doing.
Please stop
I remember this first one because it used to drive me absolutely crazy. Please tell me you aren’t someone who snaps at the wait staff. Just please. There is nothing more degrading than having a customer, or anyone for that matter, snap their fingers to call you over. Don’t do it.
Maybe it’s because I have had kids since my waitressing days, but something that used to bother me was always people who let their kids destroy that table.
