Hannah Kono fired a final-round 68 (-4) to earn a tie for 10th to lead the Nebraska women’s golf team to a sixth-place finish at the Ben Connell Ram Classic in Fort Collins, Colo., on Tuesday.
Kono, a senior from Enkoping, Sweden, finished with a 54-hole total of 214 (-2) on the 6,493-yard, par-72 layout of the Ptarmigan Golf Club. Her performance in Tuesday’s final round followed a second-round 71 (-1) and an opening-round 75 (+3) on Monday.
