Boise State Gets Brutal Injury News Ahead of Colorado State Game

Boise State is 7-1 overall and unbeaten at 4-0 in Pac-12 play. They’ve won seven straight games while scoring 30 points or more in each of those contests. Their only loss this season came on the road at then-No. 2 Oregon in their season opener, and they lost by just a single touchdown. Their strong run has even pushed them to the No. 25 spot in the first College Football Playoff rankings, making them the only Group of Six team inside the selection committee’s top 25.

However, the Broncos will need to finish the season just as strong if they want to secure a spot in the CFP, starting with Colorado State on Saturday in Fort Collins. Unfortunately, they will need to manage that game without starting quarterback Maddux Madsen, who ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported will miss it while dealing with a knee injury. The team reportedly doesn’t believe it to be too serious and expects him to return next week against Oregon State.
