Most people in Colorado have been to the Stanley Hotel at least once. If you have not been yet, cancel your weekend plans and make a trip. Estes Park is one of my favorite places to visit in Colorado. Estes Park is gorgeous, filled with Elk, and is home to the hotel that inspired Stephen King’s novel The Shining.
