Colorado’s newest ski, sledding hill opens in Windsor

DENVER ( KDVR ) — You don’t need to take Interstate 70 to get to Colorado’s newest ski hill.

Hoedown Hill opened in Windsor with ski and snowboarding trails, and what it claims is the longest sledding hill in all of North America.

The hill has 12 acres of tubing, skiing and snowboarding. There are 10 tubing lanes and a nearly 1,200-foot-long run.

Who owns Colorado’s ski resorts?

It’s said to be North America’s longest tubing hill, according to the Water Valley Company .

Luckily, you won’t have to walk up the 133-foot vertical drop. Hoedown Hill has four conveyor lifts and three of them are fully enclosed and enhanced with lights and audio.

It also has multiple green, blue and black ski runs, a ski and ride school, MoonBikes and two terrain parks.
