Financial tech company BillGO plans to lay off 80 people at its Fort Collins office by the end of March. According to the Coloradoan, BillGO filed a notice with the state under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, or WARN, that requires employers to give 60 days’ notice before the layoffs. A company attorney says the layoffs at the company’s Fort Collins headquarters, 3003 E. Harmony Road, as well as remote workers in 15 other states would be permanent, citing “a material change” in its current business opportunities. The layoffs are expected to be completed March 31.
