Police Activity in Longmont on Monday

The Longmont Police Department responded to two incidents on Monday, one resulting in an arrest on outstanding warrants and another for suspicion of DUI.

In the early morning hours, at 2:26 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Boston Avenue. A man was taken into custody after being determined that he had outstanding warrants.

Later in the day, at 5:07 p.m., officers conducted a routine traffic stop in the 500 block of Gay Street. During the stop, they found the driver to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).

The Longmont Police Department continues to monitor and respond to incidents in the area to ensure the safety and security of the community.
