2 Colorado residents killed in northwest Kansas plane crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Two Colorado residents were killed when a small plane crashed in northwest Kansas on Sunday. It happened around 6:10 p.m. in Sheridan County, about 10 miles north of Hoxie on Kansas Highway 23.

Wichita police investigating woman’s death

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that a YKC Fixed-Wing Single-Engine Aircraft piloted by 78-year-old David K. Allen of Elbert, Colorado, crashed in a field. Allen and his passenger, 79-year-old Jeanne M. Allen, also of Elbert, Colorado, were pronounced dead at the scene.
