A local photographer stated 8/5/24: Rabbit Mountain Open Space, just one hill over from Dowe Flats. There are more herds of deer than I could count, all seem to have safely made it away from Indian Mountain Fire (seen below), and thanks to our amazing firefighters, Rabbit Mountain was saved!
