DENVER ( KDVR ) — Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire after one person was found dead inside a structure in Fort Collins.
Poudre Fire posted on X about the structure fire in the 4200 block of Gemstone Lane just after 6 a.m. on Friday.
While crews cleared the scene around 7 a.m., Poudre Fire Authority and Fort Collins Police Services are still conducting a joint investigation into the cause of the fire.

Poudre Fire said Gemstone Lane between Stoney Creek Drive and Summerstone Court was closed during its investigation.
