We tried out Fort Collins’ first Krispy Kreme

It’s finally here.

After almost three years in the works, Krispy Kreme opened its first Fort Collins location Aug. 13. The drive-thru took over 4624 S. Mason St., which was occupied by Fazoli’s until its 2021 closure.

The doughnut chain broke ground in March, according to past Coloradoan reporting.

The Fort Collins shop is Krispy Kreme’s fourth in Colorado, joining existing locations in Colorado Springs, Lone Tree and Thornton, according to Krispy Kreme’s website.
