Fort Collins residents were shaken by a shooting incident that unfolded near the Poudre River White Water Park on the evening of August 23. According to the City of Fort Collins, at around 8:30 P.M., police were alerted to the violence that erupted following an argument between a man and a woman who were acquainted and staying at a motorhome in the park’s parking lot. In the chaos that ensued, the woman reportedly chased the man with a firearm, discharging multiple rounds in his direction. Despite the potential peril, the man miraculously escaped unscathed.
