Weld County Drug Task Force makes multiple arrests in narcotics seizure

DENVER (KDVR) — The Weld County Drug Task Force has made multiple arrests in connection to a long-term, large-scale operation that has resulted in law enforcement seizing a range of narcotics, the agency reported Wednesday.

In December 2023, the task force received information that multiple suspects in Greeley were distributing methamphetamine and counterfeit M-30 pills suspected of containing fentanyl in Weld County. Further into the investigation, it was discovered that the suspects were part of a larger drug trafficking organization that was distributing in northern Colorado and the Denver metro area.

17 stolen vehicles found, 11 arrested in Douglas County operation

The information gathered during the investigation was submitted to the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and several other agencies. The agencies compiled their resources for the investigation and developed intel that narcotics were being trafficked from other regions of the United States and Mexico.
