Longmont eyes $469M budget for 2025, a proposed increase of $25.7M

The Longmont City Council got a glimpse of next year’s roughly $469.6 million proposed operating budget during a study session Tuesday night. The proposed 2025 budget is $25.7 million more than the 2024 budget was when it was approved. Next year’s budget is “balanced” with “no tax rate increases,” according to a letter from City Manager Harold Dominguez to the City Council dated Aug. 27.
