Fort Collins’ First United Methodist Church, 1005 Stover St., was recently challenged to a food donation drive competition by a trio of Boulder congregations: Mountain View United Methodist Church, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and the Wesley Foundation at CU Boulder. According to the Coloradoan, nonperishable food donations started rolling in at First United Methodist Church on Sept. 1, and the church plans to collect them through Sept. 15. The city with the most donation items wins.
