Windsor Police Cutting The Ribbon Friday On New HQ

Windsor police will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday to celebrate the department’s new $30 million headquarters. The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m., at the new station, 960 N. 15th St., reports the Greeley Tribune. The new facility is just over 43 thousand square feet, more than double the 17,000 square feet the department had been operating out of at 200 N. 11th Street. The old station was designed to house roughly 35 people. When the department moved to the new station last month, Windsor police employed 52 officers and 17 civilian staff.
