FORT COLLINS – As his team prepared for a must-win showdown at Colorado State, Deion Sanders sounded like a man hovering somewhere between frustration and exasperation. The point of contention, as most Buffaloes fans know, was a run game missing in action through the first two weeks of the season. During his weekly press conference ahead of Colorado’s first visit to Fort Collins in 28 years, Sanders expressed the belief that if his team ran for 200 yards, all he would hear from the media is how his squad didn’t throw for enough yards.
