Greeley Deputy City Manager Announces Retirement

A Greeley deputy city manager recently announced his retirement after a 46-year career spanning six decades and three states. According to the Greeley Tribune, Don Tripp retired late last month, after just under two years spent as Greeley’s deputy city manager – but will stay around city leadership as an executive consultant, according to a city release. Tripp started his career as the Park and Recreation Director for the city of Nevada, Iowa, in 1978 and has since spent time in Ames and Des Moines, Iowa; Battle Creek, Michigan; and Westminster, Colo., before ending his nearly-50-year career in Greeley.
