Colorado Legal Services Files Complaint Regarding Broken Elevator In Senior Living Complex

A number of residents of a senior living apartment complex in Greeley have had their mobility severely reduced since September, when the building’s only elevator stopped working. According to the Greeley Tribune, the elevator at University Plaza Apartments has been inoperable since Sept. 12, leaving many residents on the upper floors without a safe way to leave the building at 1534 11th Ave. Late last week, Colorado Legal Services filed a complaint requesting the elevator be fixed immediately and that rent be waived for all tenants affected for the time the elevator has been out of order.
