He faces a mandatory minimum sentencing of 72 years in the Department of Corrections and could get up to 216 years in prison, according to prosecutors. He is scheduled to appear for sentencing on Feb. 3.

The charges stem from an incident on Feb. 7, when Fort Collins Police Services officers responded to the intersection of City Park Avenue and West Elizabeth Street for a report of a suspicious man walking with a woman who was pushing a stroller. Officers recognized Sirio because he was subject to a “Be on the Lookout” report for an active warrant.
