DENVER ( KDVR ) — A man was arrested for narcotic-related charges after police sad they found thousands of counterfeit pills suspected of containing fentanyl and 11 pounds of methamphetamine.
Weld County Drug Task Force began investigating 42-year-old Carlos Antonio Gonzalez-Del Hoyo in September. Police said in a post on Facebook that he was “selling large quantities of illicit narcotics throughout Weld County and the region.”

On Thursday, the Greeley Police Department’s SWAT team found Gonzalez-Del Hoyo driving near the 4700 block of Highway 34. A GPD officer assisted and K-9 Ory alerted police to the smell of narcotics in the vehicle.
Police then searched the vehicle and found about 6,000 counterfeit M-30 pills suspected of containing fentanyl and about 11 pounds of methamphetamine.
