CHEYENNE – Cheyenne East’s boys wrestling team is tied for eighth place after the first day of the Northern Colorado Christmas Tournament Friday in Greeley, Colorado. The Thunderbirds finished the first day of competition with three athletes still alive for the championship. Senior Liam Fox won all three of his matches in the 157-pound division and will wrestle in the semifinals today. Sammy Sanchez (126), Kozad Porter (132) and Isaac Clay (285) all went 3-0 on the day.
