77% of drivers in Colorado admit being distracted by their cell phones while driving, say Greeley Police, and they’re reminding all behind the wheel of a new law now in effect. The Greeley Tribune reports the Colorado Hands-Free Law expands the current ban on texting while driving to include “holding or manually using a phone or other mobile” device for any reason, including voice calls. Under the new measure, drivers can only use hands-free accessories or devices, including dashboard or phone mounts, built-in car speaker systems, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
