A national fabric and craft store is closing numerous locations across the United States. One of those locations is right here in Northern Colorado. According to 9 News, the retailer has filed for bankruptcy for the second time in less than a year.
Joann Fabrics initially filed for bankruptcy in March of 2024. The crafting company completed a restructuring in April of 2024. As the bankruptcy process became public, it showed that Joann Fabrics owed more than $2.4 billion and had $2.26 billion in assets.
Now, hundreds of Joann Fabrics locations in the United States are expected to close. Joann Fabrics has approximately 850 stores and soon, more than half of them will close.
Joann Fabrics is Closing These Colorado Locations
9 News reports that there will be six Joann Fabrics locations that will close its doors in Colorado. One of these locations is right here in Northern Colorado in Loveland. These are the Joann Fabrics stores that will be closing in the state of Colorado:
- Aurora, Colorado – 13861 East Exposition Avenue
- Aurora, Colorado – 7360 South Gartrell Road
- Boulder, Colorado – 2440 Arapahoe Avenue
- Centennial, Colorado – 9090 East Phillips Place
- Loveland, Colorado – 1601 Fall River Drive
- Pueblo, Colorado – 3449 Dillon Drive
