It becomes a weekly pilgrimage, not just for the vendors but for their customers; coming out browsing, smiling, smelling the foods being cooked, just enjoying a few hours of embracing what the Colorado land has to offer, and more.
For many, it’s about getting the freshest foods for their families; for others, it’s about looking for cooking utensils and “perfect” gifts for friends and family. Of course, for the farmers market vendors, it’s about exposure and turning a little profit.
There is a farmers market to be found in the Fort Collins/Northern Colorado area six days a week once the season really gets underway. Just like many restaurants, it looks like Monday is they days they are all closed.

I live in Downtown Loveland and enjoy how one of the town’s markets is at Fairgrounds Park, very close to the Downtown area. I can stroll over, get some things, maybe enjoy a craft beer while I’m there, then head back home…
