Missouri grocery store opens its first Colorado location in Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN, Colo. — A 75-year-old, Missouri-based grocery store expanded into Colorado, marking its first out-of-state venture.

Woods Supermarket, a family-owned business, officially opened a location in Johnstown’s Ledge Rock Center, near the Buc-ees along Interstate 25.

Johnstown Mayor Michael Duncan said the store is part of the town’s growing community, which now has a population of over 20,000 residents. He expects that number to rise even more by the next census…
