Dairy Queen Stores Are Offering a Heck of a Deal on Blizzards

Summer is quickly approaching, and soon it will be scorching hot in Northern Colorado. Nearly everyone loves to chill out with ice cream, and a great treat is always Dairy Queen.

While it might not quite be sull-swing ice cream weather, you certainly do not want to pass up a great deal. From now until April 6, 2025, Dairy Queen is offering Blizzards to customers for less than a dollar.

Hot Prices on Ice Cream at Your Local Dairy Queen

Customers can visit a local participating Dairy Queen and get an 85-cent Blizzard. Why 85 cents? That answer is easy, as Dairy Queen is celebrating 85 years in business.

How Do I Get an 85-Cent Blizzard From Dairy Queen?

According to Dairy Queen, customers who want to get the deal on a Blizzard will need the DQ Rewards app to receive the offer. If you are not signed up for DQ Rewards, you can still get the 85-cent Blizzard, however, it could take up to 48 hours after you officially sign up for the rewards program to show the offer.

The first Dairy Queen opened in 1940 in Joliet, Illinois, and has been serving sweet snacks ever since. Today, there are more than 7,700 Dairy Queen locations in more than 20 countries around the globe. The world-famous DQ Blizzard didn’t appear on the menu until 35 years after Dairy Queen opened in 1985.

In February, Loveland’s Dairy Queen at 300 East Eisenhower Boulevard celebrated its seventh consecutive year as the top treat location in the world. Once is amazing, but seven times? That is unheard of. There truly must be something in the ice cream at Loveland Dairy Queen.
