Loveland City Council passes motion asking member to resign after viral altercation video

LOVELAND, Colo. (KDVR) — A video of a council member in a verbal altercation with a citizen is making its rounds on social media and sparking up controversy in the city of Loveland.

The video shows city councilwoman Erin Black engaging in a verbal altercation with a local citizen at Webster Veterans Park. The video, taken by Dillion Kaiser shows Black showing up to the park with at least eight people and instantly start to raise her voice. Kaiser says he is outspoken on his beliefs online and says he’s had issues with Black in the past.

Facebook comments show Black asked Kaiser to meet in person, and Kaiser suggesting the park to discuss their differences.
