The North Metro Fire Rescue District has been awarded Accredited Agency status with the Commission on Fire Accreditation International.
The accreditation is based on a self-assessment validated by peers from previously accredited agencies. Criteria for the assessment include demonstrating that an agency is community-oriented, strategic-minded, data-driven and outcome-focused. North Metro Fire is one of 13 agencies that have received the accreditation.
