Colorado Discount Department Stores To Close Locations in April

Both 2024 and 2025 have included a whirlwind of business closings in both Grand Junction and around the rest of the state of Colorado.

Most of the closures we have seen over the past year will be permanent, but one discount department store in Colorado has announced an April closure. While all of these Colorado discount department stores we are about to mention will close on the same day, it will only be for one day.

Colorado Discount Department Store To Close April 20th

Target stores in Colorado will be closed on Easter Sunday (April 20th, 2025). Target stores are a popular stop this time of year for everything from Easter clothes, candy, and egg-coloring kits. Shoppers will just need to make sure they pick these items up before the holiday.

Western Colorado Locations Closed April 20th

Target stores in Western Colorado can be found in Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, and Montrose. All will be closed on April 20th in observance of Easter.

What Other Stores Will Close for Easter Sunday?

Target stores will be joined by chains such as Costco, Aldi, and Natural Grocers, which will all give employees a day off with their families.
