Evacuations still in place days after incident at northern Colorado oil and gas site

WELD COUNTY, Colo. — Four days after an oil well incident near Galeton in Northern Colorado, crews were still working to halt the release, Weld County said on Wednesday morning.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. Sunday at the Bishop well, south of Weld County Road 74 near Galeton. Galeton is about 14 miles northeast of Greeley in Weld County.
