I-25 corridor could get 18″ of snow over upcoming days as major spring storm hits

The snowfall forecast from the National Weather Service continues to show a high likelihood of a significant spring snowstorm rolling through the state over upcoming days. If the 10-percent-chance high-end scenario comes to fruition, this could mean about eight inches of snow in Denver, 14 inches in Castle Rock, 11 in Boulder, and about 12 in Colorado Springs through Sunday morning. In other words, major impacts could occur in some of Colorado’s most populated areas.

In general, snow showers are expected in several of the impacted areas on Thursday, with heavier snow on the way for Friday and Saturday.
