WELD COUNTY, Colo. — A 37-year-old Evans woman is facing multiple felony charges, including first-degree murder, in connection with the death of her ex-husband, whose body was found burned beneath a bridge in northern Colorado earlier this month.
Juana Espino has been charged with first-degree murder after deliberation, conspiracy to commit murder, tampering with physical evidence and the unlawful purchase of firearms, following a multi-agency investigation into the April 11 discovery of a burned body in Poudre Canyon near the Steven’s Gulch Picnic Area.
