Colorado farmer worried about feeding her community amid federal funding cuts

WELLINGTON, Colorado — A vegetable farmer in northern Colorado says recent federal funding cuts have her worried about her ability to provide fresh produce to people in and near northern Colorado.

Laurel Smith, owner of Here & Now Farm in Wellington, said her operation has been directly impacted by the discontinuation of some federal programs.
