Bandimere Speedway, which closed its “Thunder Mountain” site in the Morrison area last Oct. 18 after 65 years, appears poised to move to a site near the northwest corner of Interstate 76 and Colorado Highway 52 in the Hudson area in Weld County. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, a $3 million sale of a 114.45-acre tract there closed Monday. The seller was Rocky’s Autos Inc., and a post on the “Community of Hudson Colorado” Facebook page indicates that the Bandimere family was the purchaser and would be buying adjacent parcels there as well.
