Denver, Colorado – Drivers across Colorado’s Front Range should brace for near-zero visibility early Sunday as dense fog blankets the region, creating dangerous travel conditions from Fort Collins to Fort Morgan.
According to the National Weather Service in Denver, a Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect through noon MDT Sunday for a wide swath of the state, including metro Denver, Boulder, Castle Rock, Greeley, Sterling, and parts of the Eastern Plains. Visibility in affected areas could drop below one-quarter mile in places.
Roadways such as I-25, I-70, and U.S. 34 may become especially hazardous, particularly in low-lying areas, valleys, and open farmland where fog tends to thicken.
