A vehicle crashed into a house on East 23rd Street early Saturday morning, causing a gas leak that led to the evacuation of neighboring homes. According to the Loveland Reporter Herald, the emergency call came in about 1 a.m., and all occupants of the home and truck were out before the fire crews arrived. The Loveland Police Department is investigating the crash, which based on preliminary information, is believed to be related to a mechanical issue, but the investigation is still pending.
