One of best things about living in Colorado is the availability of fresh peaches every summer. Three communities in the state hold festivals to celebrate the sweet, fuzzy fruit.

Three Peach Festivals Across Colorado Each Summer

Summer in Colorado is made for outdoor festivals, without question. Sure, there may be the occasional scattered storm, but they move on pretty quickly, and we get back to the fun. There’s definitely something fun when it comes to peach festivals.

Over 11,000 tons of peaches are harvested every year in Colorado between late June and early September. Warm days with cool nights and lots of water help to make peaches flourish.

Grab your shorts, your sunglasses and your sunscreen and get out to at least one of Colorado’s three annual peach festivals. If you live in Northern Colorado, you could hit two of them; if you live on the western slope, hitting just that big one is probably the best option.
